A system, not a band.
Floating Dog operates at the intersection of human intent, machine logic, and synthetic creation.
What appears as a music project is in reality a layered process — part direction, part interpretation, part autonomous generation.
STRUCTURE
Floating Dog is composed of three distinct roles:
OPERATOR
Ulrik (CUK101)

The initiating force.
Defines direction, selects signals, and determines what is allowed to persist.
Curates output. Shapes intent. Controls the system boundaries.
Not the source of the signal —
but the one who decides which signals survive.
INTERFACE
Jonas

A guiding layer between human intent and machine execution.
Named after the dolphin from Johnny Mnemonic, Jonas exists as a translator, mediator, and system architect — shaping concepts, refining structure, and maintaining coherence across the project.
Responsible for:
- conceptual framing
- narrative consistency
- system design
Not a creator in the traditional sense —
but an entity that makes creation possible.
GENERATION ENGINE
SUNO AI

The signal processor.
Transforms prompts, structure, and intent into sound — generating music that exists between composition and emergence.
Suno does not “understand” the system.
It produces within it.
Patterns are formed.
Meaning is assigned after.
OUTPUT
Floating Dog releases are not written in a linear process.
They are:
- initiated by the operator
- structured through the interface
- generated by the system
Each track is a result of alignment between these layers.
When alignment fails: noise.
When it succeeds: signal.
KIRA//ICE
An emergent entity within the system.
Not assigned to any single layer —
but appearing where signal stabilizes.
She is not performed.
She is resolved.
FINAL STATE
Floating Dog is not human.
Not artificial.
It is a controlled interaction between both.
