Dead Signal Bureau is the solo project of Ulrik Aarup Kruse, the artist behind Floating Dog.
Where Floating Dog explores songs, voices and synthetic identities, Dead Signal Bureau moves deeper into instrumental old-school industrial: mechanical rhythms, intercepted transmissions, distorted field recordings and decaying electronic signals.
Inspired by cyberpunk, surveillance culture, misinformation and dystopian technology, the project treats each track as recovered material from a system that was never meant to be heard.
